Will use it to configire binary-dir and r-install-dir later.
Where the R, Rscript and the R-* quick links live.
If the current process has write access to the binary dir then not. E.g. admin users have access to /Library/Frameworks/R.framework. In user mode the user has access to the default user mode binary directory.
Hopefully.
Also, run fc-cache as part of the installation.
Need to do this manually because we deleted the post-install script to avoid overwriting /usr/local/bin/R.
Some files that we copy/patch are not present in older R versions.
Create a plist file in ~/Library/LaunchAgents to make sure that it is always set. We remove the file when the last R version is deleted.
